A well-established retail company headquartered in Los Angeles, known for delivering quality products and exceptional customer experiences is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist.

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment reconciliation. This role plays a key part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial operations and works closely with purchasing, receiving, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, code, and process high volume of invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices

• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions

• Assist with month-end close tasks, including AP accruals and reporting

• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience

• Experience in a retail or inventory-based environment preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks)

• Ability to handle high-volume processing and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
